Are you “Fearful” for America?

th (6)The recent Supreme Court ruling on Same Sex Marriage has naturally caused a barrage of media writings equally from the left and from the right; and even more so from those I consider off the chart. What is not so surprising is that some Christians are all up in arms because of the ruling. They truly need to stop carrying or referring to the bible when obviously they are not reading it. What about this surprises them? Or do they just want to make “noise”? Do you or do you not believe in the teachings of the bible? If you do and you think that the Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriage is something as far off the charts as you are, then you’re a hypocrite. Clearly it is written in Revelations: But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” If you are in fact a true believer, you need to stop all the attacks, and do what the bible you supposedly ascribe to says in : 1Tim 2:1-2 “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”  Try doing that. Stop writing so much and Start Praying!

  1. We have five unelected judges who have taken upon themselves to change our culture. Going against our traditional American Values, ignoring the very Constitution that governs us, they have decided that they can pass legislation, ignoring the will of the people.

Marriage was instituted by God and government has no business sticking their nose into it. Maybe there needs to be Christian marriages (outside the government licensing) and government marriages for those that believe that they need to ask the government for permission to marry.

As far as your scripture quoting even the devil knows how to quote scripture and he is very good at taking things out of context and picking and choosing. Why not quote scripture where the Bible says that a man isn’t supposed to lay with another man like a woman?

Keep spewing venom and I’ll keep adding my two cents, that is unless you censor me.

    • Hi Roddy, and thanks for visiting my site. I have to tell you that I agree with most of what you said. But please don’t misquote me. What I said was, and I quote “For those of you Christians who want to praise God with your left hand, and swear by bigotry, revenge and hatred with the constitution in your right hand go right ahead.” Also, if the shoe fits wear it, if not don’t. I most certainly do not believe that all those that display the confederate flag are bigots, nor is that what I said or meant. But for the record, what are the demographic of those that do? And what are the demographics of those that find it offensive? I am not so thin skinned as to shy away from people who push back at me. This site was developed to have a dialogue with people from different and opposing views. So, Please stop by anytime. I welcome your comments unless they become vulgar (even that is something that I unfortunately have had to deal with for the past 2 decades. But, I can handle that). But if they become threatening that is another story. So you’re welcome here anytime. I made reference to the Swastika because there are those that display it proudly(which is their right) and there are those that it offends(which is equally their right).I do, however, take issue with your comment that “your president” (indicating that he is my president and not yours'( referring to the president of the United States of America)). If you are a citizen of the USA he IS your president whether you like him or not. This rhetoric and the following aside “which I apparently adore” is a sickening familiar remark that I don’t like especially since you don’t know me. Or maybe you do. My only remark about Mr Obama was in reference to those that choose NOT to display the American Flag coincidentally with him having been elected. We are free to say what we want, fly whatever symbol we want, and practice whatever ideology we want. But along with that we make a statement. What does the confederate flag, that you so proudly hail, mean to you? Are you offended by the Swastika? Do you fly the American Flag?

  2. Since you somehow got my comments mixed up I won’t respond to you. Your reply has nothing to do with my comments above.
